Presentation and discussion of possible approaches for migrating from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7.
The goal for this workshop is to create a concise overview document for campus Drupal 6 webmasters that outlines the costs and benefits of various approaches to dealing with legacy Drupal 6 sites.
These approaches may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Staying in Drupal 6
- Upgrading a Drupal 6 site to Drupal 7
- Creating a new site in Drupal 7 and migrating the Drupal 6 content
- Creating a brand new site in Drupal 7 (or 8!) and completely overhauling content and information architecture
